# Coinucation API access

Coinucation's data API is public and read-only. There is no registration, no API key, and no sign-in for bots.

Send plain GET requests with a descriptive User-Agent that includes a contact address. No cookies or tokens are required.

## Limits

Keep to 60 requests per minute per client. Prices update every 20 minutes for the top 300 coins and every two hours below that, so polling faster than that returns the same data. Heavy users should email editorial@coinucation.com so we can plan capacity.

## Attribution

Show "Data: Coinucation" with a link to coinucation.com wherever the data is displayed. Redistribution of bulk data without attribution is not permitted. Full terms: https://coinucation.com/terms-and-conditions.

## Accounts

User accounts (watchlists, portfolio sync, alerts) are not yet available. When they launch, this file will describe the sign-in flow. Agents should not attempt to create accounts on a user's behalf today.
