Prices and market data

Every 15 minutes we fetch the top 300 coins by market cap from CoinGecko (volume-weighted prices across exchanges) and store price, market cap, volume, supply, all-time high and a 7-day hourly sparkline in our own database. Each run also writes a daily close for every coin, which builds the history behind our charts. Global market cap and dominance are sampled hourly. Project descriptions, links and categories are refreshed every two weeks.

Spot ETF flows

Net flows (creations minus redemptions, in US dollars) for each US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF are compiled once per trading day from publicly reported fund data. Fees and launch dates come from issuer filings and are listed in the ETF tracker.

Gas and fees

Ethereum gas is read every 15 minutes from a public Ethereum RPC using eth_feeHistory over the last 20 blocks: base fee plus the 10th, 50th and 90th percentile priority fees give the low, average and high figures. Bitcoin fee estimates are from mempool.space. Samples are kept for 30 days.

Headlines

The headline feed ingests the public RSS feeds of established crypto outlets every 30 minutes, deduplicates by URL, and tags each headline to the coins it names. Headlines link to the source and are excluded from search indexes.

Market wraps

The daily wrap is generated at 00:30 UTC and the weekly review on Monday at 01:45 UTC from the tables above: majors, the top gainers and losers among the top 100 (filtered to at least $5M daily volume), market cap change, dominance, Fear & Greed, ETF net flows and average gas. Sentences are templated from the data, and the editorial team reviews each post. Wraps carry the byline Coinucation Research.

FAQ blocks on coin pages

The questions and answers on each coin page are generated from that coin's live figures at render time, with the sample timestamp stated in the answer, so they stay accurate as the data changes.

Freshness

Pages regenerate on a schedule (coin pages every 5 minutes, trackers every 2 to 30 minutes, evergreen pages hourly). The "Updated" stamp on a page reflects the data sample it was built from, not the time you loaded it.
