Historical price lookup
Choose a coin and a date. You are taken to that day's price page with the close, the surrounding month, notable events and what $1,000 invested then would be worth now.
How far back the data goes
Daily closes come from Coinbase candles back to each coin's listing (Bitcoin from 2015) and CoinGecko for the latest year. Coins listed more recently start later; the date picker is limited to days we hold.
Closes, not intraday
Each date shows the daily close in US dollars. Intraday highs and lows can differ substantially on volatile days, so treat the figure as a reference for that day, not an exact tick.
