ETFs and institutions
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana ETFs saw nearly $1.25 billion in combined withdrawals in the week ended Oct. 9, with Bitcoin ETFs recording $681.1 million in outflows, a three-month high, before a $21 million inflow. Ethereum funds have not had an inflow day since September 28, while US-listed XRP ETFs extended their inflow streak to 13 weeks. Evernorth Holdings completed its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp, and its shares are expected to begin trading on Nasdaq on Monday.

Hacks and security
Hackers reportedly drained up to $93 million through a compromised Ledger reseller. Ledger confirmed draining cases linked to devices sold by CryptoBilis, reported finding an unauthorized hardware implant, and said the scope is limited. PeckShield traced $3.89 million from the drain to Binance deposits. Separately, a phishing link was posted on Coldcard's hijacked X account, a 10-year-old XRP Ledger flaw that could have created billions of XRP was patched, and LDK patches v0.2.7 and v0.1.13 closed a Lightning theft path.
